AwakeningShe stirs in slumber.

Her sky-blue eyes flutter open,
blinking away the glaucoma of grey clouds.

Her fingers run through her hair,
releasing rainbows of plumage that rise into the air,
singing and swooping in graceful flight.

Her arms stretch out,
gnarled fingers and limbs unfurling,
giving birth to buds of greens and blossoms of pastels.

She yawns deeply,
exhaling petals with hues of purple, pink, yellow and white,
blowing them gently onto the new grass.

She looks around her and smiles,
radiant sunlight bursting from her soft lips,
warming the hills and chasing the shadows from the valleys.

Her sky-blue eyes weep softly

More practicing with vectors :)

Any helpful criticism/ideas/techniques welcome. I've searched for tutorials to help with CorelDraw, but there's not a lot out there, so I'm just winging it for now ;)

Edit: Re-uploaded after making her left ear and left hand a bit lighter...looks better, I think :)

Done with CorelDRAW X4.

There are one or two strange colour mergers and connected joints, but that's what makes this vector...I love it. Strange little girl. :excited:

Thanks :) I think the ear is too dark, but it is in shadow..was trying to keep the same tones, but will see if I can make it more natural. Which finger?
