Corellas

Recently this flock of Little Corella Cockatoos has made it's home at our place, and their favourite roosting spot is our big gum tree in the back yard.

We've had to supplement our cattle's feed since we're in such a drought, and the grain mixture we're feeding them has attracted this flock, along with flocks of crows, wild ducks and Sulphur Crested Cockatoos!

The Little Corellas seem to be the most abundant and noisiest of them all, but their chatter and calls from the trees are always welcome here. It still takes my breath away to see a wild flock of parrots take to the skies, no matter what sort they are
