This is for ^Hardrockangel, for an art trade (my first art trade!) :D She in turn made me this gorgeous animated avatar (my parrot Emma sitting on a Pentool perch!) which I can't wait to start using! :love:

Hope you like this, Astrid! I want to add more to it, and probably will someday, but for now I wanted to get it to you, I'm sure you've been wondering when I'd have something ready! Sorry it took me a bit longer than I hoped, and thanks for being so understanding :tighthug: :love:

2B and 6B pencils on an A4 sketch pad, scanned at 600dpi to be able to scale it up.

She loves it, thank goodness..lol Thanks Brian! Now I can use the avatar...she finished it a couple of weeks ago but with me being sick for a week and other priorities, I only just got a chance to finish hers, and I didn't want to use what she'd done until my part was finished too :)

Aww thanks Andrew :aww: They're the reason I signed on here...well, not really, you're the reason I signed up, to be able to comment on your work, and then you encouraged me to upload some of my drawings :) Gosh...that was 5 years ago, where has all that time gone? Good memories :)

You could still sell these drawings on commission, you know. People would love portraits, I'm sure.

I do still sometimes think about doing that, but this year is bad for me...too much on my plate and I'm struggling as it is. That doesn't account for why I didn't do it the other 4 years..lol I dunno, I think about it and wonder if I would end up not liking it as much if I HAD to do them...now I like doing them when I feel like it, and I might like keeping it that way...but the extra money would be nice too :)
I'll think about it some more...maybe another 5 years? lol :hug:
