Things:

Hello everyone!
I've been so terrible about keeping in touch with everyone and updating journals and things, please accept my apologies!  It's been a horrid winter here, battling colds, flus, bronchitis, lung and sinus infections. Now, Winter has always been my favourite time of year, so I never thought I'd say this, but PLEASE STOPPIT!!! Bring on the warmer weather!  However, this is NOT an invitation for the incredibly high heats we have here in the Summer time, ok?  Somewhere between freezing my tits off and melting would be nice :sun:

A couple of months ago I lost my lovely dog, Freckles.

She's on the left, my other dog, Patches, is on the right.  She was 13 years old and probably the best dog I've ever had, she would give me hugs and literally smile at me when she was happy, which was most of the time. She was an Australian Kelpie/Blue Cattle Dog cross.  It's still hard to write this now without tearing up   One minute she was fine, running around with the energy of a puppy, then she'd jumped into her chair and laid down. A few minutes later I heard a thud and went to see what it was, and she was lying on the floor and couldn't move. I helped her up but she couldn't stand...I got her onto a cushion on the floor and that's where she stayed most of the night.  I took her to the vet early the next morning and they thought that maybe she'd had a seizure or a stroke, and said they would keep her there for the day and do some more tests. Around noon I got a call from the vet, who said I should come right over, as she'd had another seizure and it was bad.  I left work and rushed over, and the vet said that she wouldn't recover from the seizure she'd just had, she couldn't even hold her head up.  Having her put down was the hardest thing I think I've ever had to do, saying good bye was excrutiating :( I miss her every day and still expect her to come running when I come home after work.  RIP my Freckles...you were such a good girl and I miss you like crazy

At the end of this year/early next year, I'll be away for a while having some long-awaited surgery. This is something I've been trying to have done for years now, and while it's good that it's finally going to happen, it's also scary and life-changing. I'll be in hospital for about a week and then recovering for another 5 weeks or so. Something to get my head around while I wait for my surgery date.

This really hasn't been my year, I'm ready for 2013 now, please!

Awesome News!

I would like to warmly and wholeheartedly welcome back to the position of Vector Community Volunteer, the wonderful `ChewedKandi!!  As most of you will remember, unless you're new to dA within the last year, `ChewedKandi was the amazing Vector CV before me.  She has re-volunteered to take on the roll again, and in a few days, when my year as Vector CV ends, she will be stepping up into the role again   Please give her a big WELCOME BACK!!!  :squee:

My term as the Vector CV will end on the 1st of October.  I've enjoyed being the Vector CV this year, and while I haven't done as much as I would have liked (due to internet issues at home as well as all of the above health issues), it has been great meeting so many wonderful Vector artists and other people in the dA community, as well as all of the other CVs that I shared my term with.

Thank you to everyone who has sent me DD suggestions over the past year. Any suggestions I get once my term has ended will be forwarded to `ChewedKandi :)

I guess that's about all from me for now! Take care everyone and have an awesome week :)

 &

August Vector DDs!

What is Vector Art?

In digital art there are two layer formats: raster and vector. Raster formats are based in pixels and vector is based in paths and points.

When you resize a raster image, you are expanding the pixels. Your program has to try to estimate what the colours would be for the additional pixels created. Due to this, the image loses it's clarity and creates a pixel effect.

When you resize a vector image, you are increasing the distance between the points. Due to this, the image doesn't lose it's clarity and doesn't pixellate.

The key element of vector is that it's infinitely scalable without any quality loss and it's why we love it!

I'm the VECTOR CV!

What is Vector?
Quoting `ChewedKandi because her definition says it all:
In digital art there are two layer formats: raster and vector. Raster formats are based in pixels and vector is based in paths and points.
When you resize a raster image, you are expanding the pixels. Your program has to try to estimate what the colours would be for the additional pixels created. Due to this, the image loses it's clarity and creates a pixel effect.
When you resize a vector image, you are increasing the distance between the points. Due to this, the image doesn't lose it's clarity and doesn't pixellate.
The key element of vector is that it's infinitely scalable without any quality loss and it's why we love it!

What is a Daily Deviation?
Please read FAQ #61: What is a Daily Deviation?
DDs are NOT a prize...they are NOT 'winnable'!

  • I only take VECTOR suggestions, I cannot feature anything in other categories or anything else (like scraps). Since Vector is the gallery that I am in charge of, I cannot feature Vexel or Mixed Media work (commonly referred to as a 'Vection' in some dA Vector Groups). In other words, if you suggest work to me that is 95% Vector but has a raster texture overlay or other raster elements (photos, filters done in a non-vector program, etc.), I cannot feature them.

  • If the piece has used dA stock art as a reference, and hasn't given credit to the stock artist, I won't feature the piece. I also won't feature work that has been completely traced, either posterise traced or traced directly from a stock source. I want to present Vector art that is creative, original, and shows skill in the Vector medium! The use of stock art as a reference is perfectly allowable, but we want to show the world what the Vector medium is truely all about, and dispell the myths that Vector is nothing but tracing.

Vector Categories

Knowing which category to place your work into not only helps you by being correctly placed so that people searching for your type of work can find you, but also helps the Community Volunteers when they are looking for pieces to award a DD to. If your work is in the wrong category, chances are you're missing out on watchers and may also miss out on getting your work chosen for DD features.

So...let's have a look at the different vector categories and what kind of work belongs in each of them, so that you can correctly categories your creations! :la:

Digital Art > Vectors This is the base Vector category. Anything and everything vector can go in here, but wait! There are so many sub-categories so that you can really narrow down which vector category your work belongs in! :la:

Digital Art > Vectors > Abstract  Vector artwork that does not attempt to represent external, recognizable reality but seeks to achieve its effect using shapes, forms and colours.

Digital Art > Vectors > Animals Vector artwork that depicts any REAL animal. This is the category to submit dogs, cats, birds, rats, rabbits, etc...NOT the category to submit Unicorns, Dragons, fictional animals/creatures, etc. These belong in Fantasy :)

Digital Art > Vectors > Conceptual Vector artwork in which the idea presented by the artist is considered more important than the finished product.

Digital Art > Vectors > Fantasy Vector artwork based upon fantasy: medieval settings, mystical lands and mythical beings

Digital Art > Vectors > Food & Drink Vector Artwork of food and drinks...pretty self explanatory :D

Digital Art > Vectors > Macabre & Dark Vector artwork which focus on the frightening, grotesque and disturbing.

Digital Art > Vectors > Miscellaneous Miscellaneous vector artwork.  This category is for work that doesn't really fall under any of the other categories.

Digital Art > Vectors > Objects Vector art depicting one or more inanimate objects.

Digital Art > Vectors > People Vector artwork depicting people, or a person, as the main subject of the art piece.

Digital Art > Vectors > Portraits Vector artwork depicting only the face or head and shoulders of a subject.

Digital Art > Vectors > Scenes Vector art depicting a particular scene representative of a specific place of location.

Digital Art > Vectors >Science Fiction Vector artwork depicting speculative scientific discoveries, space travel and scenes, and other world life forms.

Digital Art > Vectors > Surreal Vector artwork having the qualities of surrealism; bizarre: a surreal mix of fact and fantasy.

Digital Art > Vectors > Vehicles Vector artwork depicting vehicles including: automobiles, motorcycles, watercraft, trains and aircraft.

What other categories include Vector sub-categories?

I'm glad you asked!! There are a few non-vector categories that DO contain a vector SUB-category! Those are:

Anime & Manga > Digital Media > Vector Vector based manga and anime art created using programs like Adobe Illustrator, Flash, ToonBoom and Corel Draw.

Anthro > Digital Media > Vector Digital anthropomorphic art (giving human qualities to non-human creatures) created in vector-based programs like Adobe Illustrator, Flash, ToonBoom and Corel Draw.

Cartoons & Comics > Digital Media > Cartoons > Vector Vector cartoon images created in specialized vector programs such as Illustrator, Freehand, Corel Draw, and Flash.

Cartoons & Comics > Digital Media > Comics > Vector Vector comic pages or strips created in programs such as Illustrator, Flash or Freehand.

Customization > Wallpaper > Vector Wallpapers consisting of vector based artwork created with Illustrator, Freehand, Corel Draw, and Flash.

Fan Art > Digital Art > Vector > Books & Novels, Games, Miscellaneous, Movies & TV Digital fan art vector images based on copyrighted material created using computer vector software.

I think that covers all of the vector categories on dA! If I've left anything out, please let me know :)  There is also the Mixed Media category into which any vector work that's mixed with raster elements should go...please see PE: Vectors...to Mix or Not to Mix? for more info on that :)

I hope this list and their descriptions help you to categorise your work correctly.

PE: Careers in Vector Graphics

Where Can Vectors Take You?

Any vectorist will tell you that there is a lot of personal satisfaction in creating vector art. Because it's not the simplest of mediums to work with, most vector artists will take great pleasure in finishing a piece and being proud of their work, even in the beginner stages.  Personally I also find great joy in watching other vector artists complete a piece, knowing how much work went into it.

But what else can vectors do for us?

If you decide to take your vector knowledge and skill into the workplace, there are many avenues and careers that Vector artists can embark upon.

Freelancing Being a Freelance Vector artist can take you in many directions, leaving your possibilities wide open to different opportunities. One week you might find yourself designing a logo or branding elements for a new company. The next week you might be designing a larger than life billboard.  You might set your sights on designing and illustrating children's books or greeting cards.  Being a freelance vector artists allows you to be diverse and seldom bored!  Freelancing does have a down-side as well, in that you have to constantly put yourself out there and find work, especially in the beginning stages. Once you've established yourself a bit and satisfied some clients, more work should come your way. After a while you'll probably find that you've become so busy that you're having to turn down some work just to keep up with the work you decide to take!

Advertising Agencies While vectors are used more and more in the graphics industry, most agencies will need you to know a variety of mediums other than vector, in order to satisfy the wide variety of clients and their needs.  But designers are discovering more often than not, that vectors are the easiest to work with when designing work for a client.  Vectors are able to be edited very quickly in most cases.  Changing a colour of an object or text is much easier in vector than it is in raster work. The size of a vector file is also important, as it's usually very, very small when compared to a raster file.  Extremely complex vector work can be contained in a very small file size!

Signmaking  This is a field that I hold close to my heart, and this is how I earn my living these days. I work for a small but long-established signmaking company. We might be small, but there is almost nothing that we can't do, and we love a good challenge!  My job is to do the vector work for 95% of the signs, business cards, vehicle graphics, embroidery designs, personal property signs, posters, banners...the list is pretty big.  I love my job. It's as diverse as being a freelance artist, but without the headache of having to find my own clients and do my own bookwork :la:  I have found over the past few years of working for signmakers, that vector artists are pretty in-demand, at least around here. I should note here that while Adobe Illustrator is the 'standard' for most vector illustrations, in the signmaking world CorelDRAW is more widely used. I'm not sure of the reason behind this, whether it's that CorelDRAW is more compatible with the vinyl cutters and larger plotting machines than Illustrator is, or if it's because of the add-on tools that can be bought for CorelDRAW such as SignTools, EasySIGN and other similar add-ons that make our jobs much easier. So if you're in the market for a job with a signwriter, you might brush up on some CorelDRAW skills :)

Web Design Scalable Vector Graphics (or SVG) has been around since 1999. So why is it news today? The answer is inline SVG. Using HTML5, you can code SVG directly in your page, so vectors are being used more often in web design these days! The main reason being that the file size for vector graphics, as stated in the Advertising Agency paragraph above, are SO much smaller than raster files, and therefore LOAD onto webpages at warp speed!

What else? The possibilities of finding work with vector graphics is pretty much limited to your imagination and how much effort you're willing to put into finding the perfect job for you.  The jobs/careers listed above are only a few examples. Vectors are finding their way into fashion illustration, television graphics, mobile applications (such as graphics for that iPhone or Android phone in your pocket), game designs, software creation, animation...the list goes on and on!

What makes vector graphics so popular? The infinite scalability, the clarity and the file size! In each and every profession that works with vector graphics, these are the main reasons they're so popular, and the reason that more and more companies are using them in their design work...and of course they're the reasons WE love vectors so much!!

Until next time...
 and

May Vector DDs!

What is a Daily Deviation?

PE: Vectors: To Mix or Not to Mix?

Wed May 30, 2012, 6:47 AM

To Mix or not to Mix?

I often get asked questions regarding what is and what isn't allowed in a Vector piece to allow it to remain a Vector piece.
Sound confusing?  Isn't a Vector piece always a Vector piece?  The answer to this is 'NO!'
Let me explain by starting with the definition of a Vector:  Although I've already posted `ChewedKandi's definition of Vectors many times in my journals, I'll do so again now.

In digital art there are two layer formats: Raster and Vector. Raster formats are based in pixels and vector is based in paths and points.
When you resize a raster image, you are expanding the pixels. Your program has to try to estimate what the colours would be for the additional pixels
created. Due to this, the image loses it's clarity and creates a pixelated effect.
When you resize a vector image, you are increasing the distance between the points. Due to this, the image doesn't lose it's clarity and doesn't
pixelate.
The key element of vector is that it's infinitely scalable without any quality loss and it's why we love it!

When does a Vector piece stop being a Vector piece, and become something else?

When you add Raster elements!

Up until fairly recently, Vectors were Vectors, and any Vector that had ANY raster elements added to it were Mixed Media.  In February of last year, changes were made to the Vector Category Rules to include 'Live Effects', which are minor effects that have been produced in a vector based program.

These include such filters as blurs, drop shadows, feathering and inner glow...but are not limited to these. The key words here are that the effects MUST be produced in a vector based program for them to be considered in a 100% vector piece.

What is a 'Raster Element' and what makes a Mixed Media piece?

Raster elements are anything based in pixels. If you've scanned a swatch of material or an old piece of paper and added it to your Vector work, even on a very low opacity, this is a raster element and will immediately make your work Mixed Media rather than Vector.  If you've added a photograph of anything, your work is Mixed Media.  If you've done 95% of your work in a vector program such as Illustrator or CorelDRAW, then take your work over to a 'paint' program such as Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro and add any postwork such as colour correction or contrast filters...your work is Mixed Media.

Think of any other artistic mediums;  If you're a traditional artist and make an acrylic painting of a bird, then use markers/texters to do some line-work, you've mixed two mediums (paint and markers/texters), so your work is then Mixed Media.  If you take a photo of a sunset...and then bring it into Photoshop and add digital filters, text and effects, your photograph is now Mixed Media.  Mixed Media pieces are not limited to Vector + Raster pieces.  Any time you mix two or more MEDIUMS of art, your work is Mixed Media.

So to put it simply: Mixed Media, in relation to vectors, is any vector work where any raster element has been added.  When you create a Mixed Media piece, please be sure to place it in the Mixed Media category and not in the Vector category.  Most Vector Groups on dA will allow Mixed Media pieces and will have a special folder for you to add your work to.  Some Vector groups have adopted the term 'Vection' for Mixed Media Vectors.  This is not an offical dA term, it was made by =Asher-Bee so that Mixed Media Vectorists weren't left out of the Vector groups.  Most groups that allow Mixed Media have a ratio of Vector:Raster, so be sure to find out what the group's ratio is before you submit your work.

Is there a way around using raster elements if we want to be 100% Vector?

YES!!!  Illustrator has the 'Live Trace' feature and CorelDRAW has the 'Trace Bitmap' feature, both of which can be used to trace a raster texture or image.  You'll probably need to play around with the settings on these features to get your desired effect, or if you'd like a tutorial, you can check out `ChewedKandi's 'Creating Scalable Textures Within Illustrator' over on Vectortuts+. Please remember that 'Live Trace' or 'Trace Bitmap' should be used sparingly, and not for your entire piece ;)

Well, I think that about wraps up the Mixed Media question!  I hope you've found this helpful. Again, if anyone has any questions, please feel free to ask either here on this post or in a note to me. I'm very happy to help!

Until tomorrow...

So, you want to learn how to Vector?

Getting started with Vectors is simple, and SO much fun!  You'll need a few basics, so let's make a checklist:

1)  Willingness to learn?  CHECK!
2)  Creativity?  CHECK!
3)  Desire to be able to infinitely scale your work?  CHECK, CHECK, CHECK!

Alrighty then, let's get down to some basics!

First thing you'll need is a Vector program or a program capable of Vectors.  There are quite a few programs out there, but the most popular are Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, Inkscape and Photoshop. Yep, Photoshop IS capable of making Vectors!

Program software for Illustrator and Photoshop can be expensive, followed closely by the cost of CorelDRAW, but these programs are the most used in the industry of Vector Graphics.  However, if cost is an issue, Inkscape is a fantastic FREE program that is constantly being updated and upgraded, giving you all the tools you need to create stunning Vector graphics at no cost to you!

Tools of the Trade:

Whichever program you choose to use, the basic tools are pretty much the same.  There are the Pentool, Bezier tool, shape tools, freehand tools, and much more.  The BEST way to learn to Vector is to jump right in and start learning to use the tools.  Get the feel for how they work and how to use them to create what you have in mind.  If you get stuck with how something works, there are many avenues of help available to you, not only here on dA, but lots of other places....

Tutorials, Resources and Stock...Oh My!

Tutorials can be found in a few different forms, from live streams to written step-by-step instructions.  On dA there is a whole section of Vector Tutorials waiting for you to explore, you can even narrow down your search to specific program tutorials! There are also many Vector Resources...free Vector elements, textures and more for you to use. Just make sure to credit the original artist if you use these! :la:  And don't forget about the thousands of Stock Images that you can use for inspiration to your heart's content!  dA is FULL of awesome Vector help!

There are also many websites outside of dA that feature nothing but Vector Tutorials.  To name just a few...
Vector Tuts+
Vectorials
Vectips
YouTube - Search for 'Vector Tutorials' and see what pops up!
and many, MANY more...just do a Google search for 'Vector Tutorials and browse away!

Vector Groups

Another great way to get started with Vectors is to join some of the many Vector groups to be found on dA!  There are so many awesome groups that I can't possibly list them all here, but I will name a few to get you started...if you still want more, then search dA's Groups for Vector and be amazed at the list that comes up!
Here's a few to get you going:
:iconvector-artists:, :iconvector-vexel-elite:, :iconvexelove:, :iconvectorink:, :iconcoreldraw-vectorists:, :iconvectors-unite:, :iconvector-central:, :iconai-resources: and so many more!!

Need more help?

I'm more than happy to help people who are just getting started with Vectors. Feel free to drop me a note and ask questions.  I don't know a great deal about Illustrator, I use CorelDRAW as my weapon of choice, since this is what I use in my day job :)  But if I can't find the answer myself, I can probably refer you to someone who would know.  But the basics are pretty much the same from program to program...the pen tool works the same in Illustrator as it does in CorelDRAW or InkScape, so chances are, I can help get you started at least :)

But the most important part of learning to Vector is to jump in and give it a try!! Don't be disheartened if you find it a little more complicated than you imagined it would be.  The more you play around with the tools, the more comfortable you will become with them, and after a while it will become second nature to draw something using the Pentool and you'll wonder how you ever did without it!  Vectoring IS worth the effort, and the amount of time you put into learning how to Vector will definitely be worth the effort, because Vectors are awesome!!

Thanks for your time today!
Until tomorrow...
 and

Mon May 28, 2012, 5:18 AM

Hello everyone, and welcome to Project Educate: Vector Week!!  I'm `DomiSM, and I'm in the Community Volunteer in charge of the Vector Categories on dA :D
This week I hope to bring a bit of light to help artists understand more about what Vectors are...and what they aren't.  I also hope to bring some help to those who are interested in delving into the Vector medium, as well as hopefully giving the more experienced Vectorists some inspiration

So, without any further ado....

What is Vector Art?

In digital art there are two layer formats: Raster and Vector. Raster formats are based in pixels and vector is based in paths and points.

When you resize a raster image, you are expanding the pixels. Your program has to try to estimate what the colours would be for the additional pixels created. Due to this, the image loses it's clarity and creates a pixelated effect.

When you resize a vector image, you are increasing the distance between the points. Due to this, the image doesn't lose it's clarity and doesn't pixelate.

The key element of vector is that it's infinitely scalable without any quality loss and it's why we love it!

While Vector is a Medium, there are so many styles of Vectoring!  Each Vector Artist finds his or her own way of using the tools to create their own style. I'm often amazed at what people do with Vectors and often have to look twice or even ask what program/tools they used because I can't believe some things are possible with Vectors...but they are pretty much limited only to your imagination. The programs today are capable of so much more than they were a few years ago, and it's opened up wonderful new styles

If you would like a more in-depth history of Vectors, please see my previous The History of Art - Vector Graphics article.

:bulletred: :bulletred: :bulletred: :bulletred: :bulletred: :bulletred: :bulletred: :bulletred: :bulletred:

We're going to jump-start Project Educate: Vector week with *drumroll*....

Project Educate: Revamp Your Vector Contest!

:bulletred: THEME:

We want you to choose either one of your earliest Vector pieces, (or if you're new to Vectoring and don't have 'earlier' pieces, you can choose a non-vector piece) and give your work a Vector Makeover!  We want you to totally remake your ealier vector/non-vector piece into a brand-new Vector!

:bulletred: RULES:

Your entry MUST:
1) Be a totally NEW piece, created especially for this contest, and must be reworked from a previous piece in your gallery. Pieces uploaded earlier than May 28, 2012 will be disqualified.

2) Be submitted to `DomiSM via a NOTE with the Subject 'REVAMP CONTEST'.  One note per entry, please do not submit multiple entries in one note.  If I do not get a note from you with your entry into the contest, I won't know it exists, and it won't be judged as part of the contest.

3) Be 100% VECTOR! Please do not use raster (pixel based) textures or other raster elements in your entry.  If you are unsure if something is a raster element, please note me and ASK...I promise I don't bite ;)

You may enter more than once as long as the above rules are followed, but you can only win ONCE.

:bulletred: DEADLINE:

The contest starts TODAY, May 28, 2012 and ends at midnight, PST on June 3, 2012.  Winners will be announced as soon as possible after the contest ends.

HAPPY ST PATRICK'S DAY EVERYONE!!

My favourite Irish Proverb has always been,

"May your home be always too small to hold all of your friends,"

and I wish this for everyone today!

I thought I'd browse around and find some St Patty's Day vectors for you to squiz at :D

On a personal note, sorry for not being here much for the past week.  I had some minor surgery done last Thursday and was told I'd only be in a little bit of pain afterwards for a day or so.  That turned into a week of much more than a 'bit of pain', but apparantly that's 'normal' for some people :hmm:  But I'm OK now and back and better than ever!  I even lost 5 kilos this past week (hey, being in pain DOES have a benefit!) lol I'm determined to get back on track with getting my health back on track, so wish me luck. :iconiluvcloverplz:  I go back to the doctor in a couple of months and we'll see then if this procedure helped at all, and if not, then I may need something more extensive, but for now I actually feel better than I've felt in...well...YEARS!  I hope it continues!

I hope all of you are in good health and good spirits! I will get through my inbox this weekend, I promise!  I'm also almost done with an art trade I'm doing with `Hardrockangel and can't wait to be able to use the awesome animated avatar she made for me!! :eager:  After that, I'm going to do my best to finish up a few vectors I've been working on for ages now and get them uploaded...seems like forever since I've posted anything worthwhile, but I hope to remedy that soon!

Have a great St Patty's Day everyone!!  May the Luck 'o the Irish be with ye!
 & to everyone!

Hot August Nights 2012 Packaging by *rjonesdesign has "outstanding detail," says the suggester, and I agree, this is amazing in both detail and techniques. The angle of the car and both scenes it's been placed in make it a beautiful package design.

Time will heal by ~caramelaw

Time will heal by ~caramelaw is, at first glance, a lively, happy illustration, but really shows how sometimes, even when everything around us is happy, it can't take away someone's sadness.

Changes to Daily Deviations!

Journal Entry: Thu Feb 16, 2012, 3:23 AM

If you're not already aware, there've been some changes made to the Daily Deviations rules!

:bulletred: The 3-month rule is now the 6-month rule, meaning that it must be at least 6-months since the last time an artist received a daily deviation. (This was an overwhelmingly popular suggestion from the community and I agree, it's a good one!)

:bulletred:  Daily deviation selectors may only select one daily deviation per day maximum. This has been put in place to focus on Quality vs Quantity.

I especially like the 6 months rule change :D  This means I have to dig deeper and find some of you amazing Vector Artists that I haven't discovered yet!  I know you're out there, and I do my best to find you, but with so many artists on dA, it's nearly impossible to find everyone who deserves a DD.  I love featuring someone who hasn't been 'discovered' on dA yet!  It puts a huge smile on my face when someone says thanks and that they never thought they'd get a DD :D

Hey, while you're out there browsing around dA and you find a Vector piece that makes you say, "WOW!", why not send me a note with a link and suggest it as a DD?  You could even include why you like the piece so much, or what it was about it that grabbed you and made you stand up and pay attention :D  Want to know more about what I look for in a feature piece, or how to send suggestions to me?  Check out Suggesting Daily Deviations :D

Hope everyone had a love-ly :heart:Valentine's Day:heart: and hope you were spolied by the one you love...and if you were, or if you were the one doing the spoiling, please send notes on what to do to my darling husband...k?  lol

& to all :)
