...but still not feeling great

Went to Tamworth hospital Monday afternoon...got there around 4:30pm and the place was packed. So they took my details and asked me to have a seat and wait. I can barely walk at this point and sitting wasn't too comfy either. 2 hours later they call me to take my vitals...and tell me to go back and wait again, but gave me some pain killers which made things a little better. 2 hours more go by and they finally have a bed for me. It felt so good to just lie down! After seeing 3 doctors, getting a bit of morphine for the pain, they decide it's not my appendix or anything needing surgery, and leave it up to me whether I want to stay there overnight or go home, where I can have a CT Scan at our local hospital. I had the doctor ring the hospital here to make sure they could get me in, and she said they told her it would be fine. It's nearly 11:30pm by now, I'm drugged to the gills, actually hungry - starving in fact since I haven't eaten all day - and Wayne, my husband, says he's fine to drive home if I'd be more comfortable there. So I'm given a note for the scan I need, more pain killers and off we go. I think we got home around 3am, we had to drive pretty slow since it was very foggy outside...kind of like the inside of my head.
I think I slept most of the day yesterday but Wayne rang to make the appointment for my scan, only to be told I have to fill out some forms, bring them back and wait for them to ring me 'sometime this week' when they can fit me in. I should've stayed in the hospital

Anyway, I'm back, but still on pain killers, so probably won't be here regularly. I'll poke my head in when I can and do Group things that need doing. Thanks everyone for the lovely messages and thoughts...I appreciate and love y'all dearly

Out of commission...Hi everyone,
Looks like I will be out of commission for a few days. I've been having some pretty bad stomach/abdomnal pains since Friday and my doctor is sending me to Tamworth (2 hours away) for some tests. I'll be back when I can be.

How are YOU doing??
the most important, is that you're recovering little by little, and at the end you'll be fully held
