Hi everyone! 
I'd like to thank `LineBirgitte and the dA team for a most excellent Drawing Day! I managed to 'win' one of the many 3 month subs that dA was giving away with a rather quick, silly sketch of a little girl with pigtails holding a rubber duckie in an inflatable swimming pool..lol It was much fun watching the submissions that day and it's amazing what people can come up with in such a short time!
A huge thank-you to my dear friend ~artemisa-69 for the lovely support stamps she's made for

! She is such a thoughtful, wonderful person, so I figured she deserved a support stamp as well and made 
for her

One was for my birthday and the other was for guessing how she made her Deviant ID Thanks again, so much, Elisa, you really know how to brighten my day, and it's been wonderful getting to know you these past couple of months Other news...I started a new job this week! Some of you may know I lost my job about a month ago, my boss saying he could no longer afford to keep me. Two weeks later he asked me to come back to work in a different capacity, with less hours. There's a huge, long story there, which I won't go into, but basically I wasn't very happy with that offer for a number of reasons, so I decided to send out some resumes and see what else was out there for me before I made a decision. The day after I sent them, I had a phone call from the other Signs company in town asking me to come in and chat with him, so I did. The interview went very well and he said he would let me know after he checked his finances. He rang again the next day and offered me a job, making far more money than I was at the other place, and a full-time position! I can tell you I didn't hesitate in accepting his offer! I started working on Tuesday this week and I absolutely LOVE my new job! The place I'm working for is run very professionally, the staff are wonderful, very laid-back and fun to work with, and there's so much work coming in that we can barely keep up Of course I'm on a trial period right now, but I feel good about the position and think/hope that it will end up being a permanent job for me Check out my "Favourite Faves" at the bottom of this Journal, I'm sure you'll find something you love there!

My hubby passed away May 4, and I haven't gotten back in the on-line groove yet..I think I will at some point though..I've been busy with family and it has been wonderful to have them around so much..My kids are the best! I wouldn't have done nearly as well without their support..
So I will be lurking around every couple days, and enjoy the art of the great members on DA that I have watched..And take part when the time is right!
